Threat Manager summary
Alert Logic updated the appearance of the Alert Logic console, though all functionality remains. If you elected to use the new console, please note that portions of the product documentation could describe the classic Alert Logic console.
The Summary screen provides a high-level, customizable overview of any noteworthy behavior reported by Alert Logic, presented in customizable modules.
By default, the Alert Logic console displays some modules. You can edit and remove these modules, or you can add new modules. You can create additional tabs to group and organize your modules.
- In the Alert Logic console, click OVERVIEW, and then click Dashboards.
- In the left navigation area, click Network IDS.
- If you have more than one tab, select the tab where you want to add a new module.
- Click Add new.
- In the menu, use the drop-down menu to select a new module. You can also scroll down the list of images to select a module.
- After you select a module, click Add this module.
- In the Alert Logic console, click OVERVIEW, and then click Dashboards.
- In the left navigation area, click Network IDS.
- If you have more than one tab, select the tab where you want to edit a module.
- Click the gear icon () for the module you want to edit.
- In the menu, make your changes. For example, you can edit the type of graph used and the time period displayed.
Different modules contain different options to edit.
- Click Apply.
- In the Alert Logic console, click OVERVIEW, and then click Dashboards.
- In the left navigation area, click Network IDS.
- If you have more than one tab, select the tab where you want to edit a module name.
- Click the module name.
- Edit the module name.
- Click the check icon ().
- In the Alert Logic console, click OVERVIEW, and then click Dashboards.
- In the left navigation area, click Network IDS.
- If you have more than one tab, select the tab where you want to delete a module.
- Click the gear icon () for the module you want to delete.
- In the menu that appears, click Delete module.
When you delete a module, the module is only removed from the current tab. If the module is used in another tab, that module will remain active.
- In the Alert Logic console, click OVERVIEW, and then click Dashboards.
- In the left navigation area, click Network IDS.
- Click + Add group.
- In the expanded area, enter a descriptive name.
- Click the check icon ().
You can now add modules to this newly created tab.
- In the Alert Logic console, click OVERVIEW, and then click Dashboards.
- In the left navigation area, click Network IDS.
- Select the tab you want to become the default tab.
- Click the wheel icon ().
- Click the star icon ().
When you change the default status of a tab, the icon changes to green ().
- In the Alert Logic console, click OVERVIEW, and then click Dashboards.
- In the left navigation area, click Network IDS.
- Select the tab you want to edit.
- Click the wheel icon ().
- Edit the tab name.
- Click the check icon ().
- In the Alert Logic console, click OVERVIEW, and then click Dashboards.
- In the left navigation area, click Network IDS.
- Select the tab you want to delete.
- Click the wheel icon ().
- Click the trash icon ().
- Click Confirm.
